Lobby Corps: Communications Director

The Communications Director is primarily responsible for disseminating information throughout the campus, as well as maintaining Lobby Corps’ connection and contact with all major Campus, Local, Statewide and National media outlets. They handle Lobby Corps’ social media accounts and are responsible for keeping the community informed about Lobby Corps’ work through regular updates. Lastly, the Communications Director coordinates all outreach and recruitment campaigns, specifically through: presentations in class and to other organizations, tabling, Week of Welcome Activities, and the creation of posters, flyers and signs. Like all officers, they are required to attend all Lobby Corps meetings and quarterly retreats, and are required to hold two (2) regularly scheduled office hours per week or more. The ideal applicant possesses background knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and is familiar with concepts relating to Graphic or Layout Design.
