As the External Affairs Coordinator of AS Food Bank, you would be required to act as liaison to the many community based food groups (such as SB Food Bank, local food growers, local businesses, etc.) and other food bank services within the UC system and across the United States. While Food Bank considers the local need, you will be concerned, also, the the national and/or global need to end hunger. To do this, you are expected to coordinate at least 2 donations walks per quarter in the community, at least 1 educational workshop a quarter on food nutrition and hunger issues, and work with AS Food Bank staff to assist in fundraising efforts.
