Responsible for issues of safety in the Isla Vista community. Shall develop measures and initiatives intended to create a safe, welcoming environment and inclusive feel in Isla Vista, especially for underrepresented communities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with authority figures such as law enforcement and conveying student concerns in a manner that is polite, professional and firm. This person would also be responsible for working on issues related to sexual assault, police enforcement, public safety, and police relations.
