- Charge of the Childcare Director:
- Collaborate with the Non-Traditional Student Resource Center.
- Hold two (2) office hours per week, exclusive to CAB related meetings and fieldwork.
- Develop programs/projects and events for undergraduate students with dependent children.
- Actively participate in the planning process for CAB’s annual Volunteer Week and provide assistance during the week’s events.
- Administrative/Advisory Membership:
- Childcare Director
- Director of Women’s Center or liaison
- Campus Childcare Advisory Committee (CCAC) liaison
- CAB Senators
- Community Volunteer Coordinator
- Any other student, faculty, or staff member interested in childcare issues.
- Granting Committee Membership:
- Childcare Director
- Director of Women’s Center or liaison
- Community Volunteer Coordinator
- Final approvals voted by CAB board members and recorded in minutes.
- Duties and responsibilities of the granting Committee:
- With the help of the Administrative/Advisory Committee, set up application deadlines.
- Review and award grants.
- Monies from this account will be distributed in the amount of up to, and not to exceed three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) plus one hundred fifty dollars ($125.00) for each additional child per student/family per quarter, with the maximum of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) per student/family per quarter.
- Track and provide reports on all grants to ensure individual awards do not exceed three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) plus one hundred fifty dollars ($ 150.00) for each additional child per student/family per quarter, with the maximum of eight hundred dollars ($ 800.00) per student/family per quarter.
