Compliance Officer


The Compliance Officer serves within the Controls and Compliance Office to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to A.S. Financial Policy, procurement processes, and other governing regulations. Compliance Officers conduct independent reviews, assist in investigations, and support the Chief Compliance Officer in preparing official reports to the A.S. Senate.

This role requires discretion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to ethical conduct, due process, and maintaining the integrity of the Association.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer in conducting independent investigations of A.S. accounts, procedures, and policy adherence.

  • Gather, verify, and analyze documentation and evidence related to financial and procedural compliance.

  • Participate in interviews, hearings, and internal meetings as necessary.

  • Draft and review reports summarizing investigation findings, ensuring clarity, neutrality, and evidence-based conclusions.

  • Collaborate with A.S. staff, officers, and entities while maintaining independence from undue influence.
